A Candle Flickers In Darkness

In the dark
Objects although there
Are not always clear
Words, thoughts, and ideas
Transform into darkness
Yet, they may not be visibly seen
A hand reaches to light the candle
The flame flickers and glows
Even in the darkest hour
Becoming darkest before dawn
Amidst violent raging storms
The candlelight gives hope, peace, and faith
A light flickers in darkness
Yet, it does not burn out
