Why do I sigh?
Why do I sigh
and stumble in shade,
when my thoughts
and my thinking
are different to yours?
Why do I cringe
and crouch in the dark,
when my words
and my motives
are misunderstood?
Why do I bruise
and fall in a heap,
when my plans
and my dreams
are just brushed aside?
Why do I hide
in the space in my head,
when my questions
and answers
are treated as trash?
