Trusting His Protection
I look up to the hills,
As the breeze sending chills;
For where can I find aid,
When I am so afraid.
But it is not ignored,
My help comes from the Lord;
Creator of this earth,
And gives me a rebirth.
He will not let me fall,
Answers prayer when I call;
Watches and does not sleep,
Like a shepherd with His sheep.
The Lord is at His best,
Never needing to rest;
Protects us in the day,
Guarding us not to stray.
A shield and our shade,
Feel safe and not afraid;
Shading from the sunlight,
And from the moonlit night.
The Lord guards you through life,
Helps in the midst of strife;
Caused by every woe,
And from each evil foe.
So now and forever,
The bond will not sever;
For as you come and go,
God is guarding to and fro.
