FOOT PRINTS OF TIME

FOOT PRINTS OF TIME

Tracks in time worn sand
Wind turning to memories familiar prints

Twilight comes and goes
The sun rises and sets

Moonlight with millions of stars
Shine from the boundless heaven

Flowers bloom and then fade
Grass grows tall and then turn to hay

Thousands of feet crossed this blessed land
How long has man walked here

Has much change
Do we learn from the ancient man that vanquished

We are here for only a brief visit
A breath in time

Where will we go from here
The eons of time are behind and before us

What kind of footprints will we leave
Someone may walk in them

Isaiah 52:7

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that brings good tidings,
that publishes peace; that brings good tidings of good, that publishes salvation;
that says unto Zion, Your God reigns!
