Practical Precepts
I ask of you to show,
Your appreciation;
Those helping you to grow,
In learning salvation.
You must never condemn,
Or as inferior;
Rather I ask to love them;
Being superior.
Teach those not living right,
How to be a brother;
God blesses within His sight,
In peace for each other.
Instruct them to do good,
And live a godly life;
In marriage as it should,
Between husband and wife.
Cheer up those who are sad,
Help them if they are weak;
Tell them how to be glad,
Praying the Lord to seek.
Whatever God unveils,
Never try to despise;
You will find the details,
As God looks in your eyes.
Hold on to what is just,
And not a desire;
That Satan puts his trust,
Lighting your wrong fire.
