The Weaponless Mind The sword is an extension of the warrior, an extension of the SELF. Upon recognizing an actual threat is the only time a fatal blow should be DEALT. Otherwise, the modern day swordsman practices to promote harmony and to maintain good physical HEALTH. The bow and arrow was designed to strike a target from AFAR. A flaming arrow racing through the night would resemble a shooting STAR. The most important lesson to the modern day warrior is; "Always believe in who you ARE." Our most ancient weapon is the stick, taken from the branch of a TREE. Warriors of old were taught to always have respect for the ENEMY. It is important to the modern day warrior to understand the valuable lessons of martial arts HISTORY. It is also important to understand that ancient warriors utilized their farming tools as WEAPONRY. The weaponless warrior is most FEARED and most REVERED. A mind which has been properly trained can easily sense when danger is NEAR. When the battle begins, the weaponless warrior has the advantage, because his thoughts are pure and his mind is CLEAR.
