Lord, you gave all Your Love
one dark and gloomy day
for You paid our debt and burdens
With Your life is how you gave.
A soldier has this kind of love
they go where their orders send
not thinking the cost of their lives
just the Love of Freedom they defend.
Lord, you said there is no greater gift
than to give Your life so we never die
it is the most humbly way of expression
Agape Love gives us the example to live by.
I pray that all will have this kind of love forYou
when the gates of glory decend on high
we will see the angels like eagles wings
our spirit will set free to fly.
