Blessed By The Community Of Martinsville
I decided to sit down and write this letter today
Expressing how grateful I am in so many ways
I have had the priviledge to meet so many nice people
From the United Way,to the courthouse,to the jail and
under Church steeples
There's too many names to mention every one here
They all hold a special place in my heart being sincere
As an evangelist I'm called to share God's love
I pray a blessing comes down on all from Our Father above
I'm commanded to love the Lord with all my heart
My neighbors are His children; it's love I'm to impart
I've seen that I'm appreciated by all at The Reporter-Times
I've been gifted by Our Heavenly Father to make rhymes
So I'm going to end this poem letting each of you know
That Jesus gets the credit for my happiness everywhere I go
God bless and I love you all , heart and soul !
