Welcome to My Poetry Site - GOD SEES THE SPARROW

GOD sees each sparrow that falls to the ground..

HE knows the very hour in the day

And HE marks the place with the touch of HIS hand..

As HE carries the spirit away .

But - HE also sees those - whose wings cannot fly

And the scars that have covered the wound

He knows the depths of the internal pain..

Of those - weeping alone in their room .

But - this HE would say - to the fearful of heart ..

And the ones with the damaged wings

Don't let the past - and its hurts - silence your voice..

Open your mouth wide - and sing .

Sing to the ONE who can dry every tear ..

Sing through your heartache and dread

Sing through the sorrow and grief that you bear ..

Sing when alone on your bed .

Then - as if by a miracle - the darkness will fade ..

And the pain will grow lesser each day

And - the hand that took care of the sparrow ..

Will wipe all your sorrow away .
