Wandering
All of them were under a cloud,
And through the sea had gone the crowd;
They were united in the sea,
Through baptism so all could see.
Regardless of the kind of mood,
They ate the same spiritual food;
And drank the same spiritual drink,
Regardless of what they did think.
For the rock was their water tank,
The source of water that they drank;
And the rock was actually Christ,
Helping them not to feel enticed.
Yet God was not really that pleased,
They acted like they were diseased;
Bodies scattered everywhere,
Dead and buried you could find there.
This is how evil desire,
Can ignite the sinful fire;
Worshipping false idols and gods,
That you surely know are frauds.
Having feasts with sexual sin,
And earthly pleasures that begin;
That will corrupt the mind and heart,
Causes the Spirit to depart.
Never put God to the test,
Resisting temptation is best;
Your ability to endure,
Will be keeping you from the lure.
