From the Heart Through the Pen

Don't just want someone to lay with
That grew to be too complacent
Need someone on who I can build with
Who I can call my foundation

Trey was right when he said
Sex ain't better than love
Life right now unfulfilled
Though I'm surrounded by
Many creatures so pretty
I need someone beyond beautiful

Someone who'll tell me
If I think she's True Beauty
Then I should see her heart
If I thought I was amazed
By last year’s so called Magnum Opus
I truly don't understand art

She's sorry I was caught
On something so superficial
But if I couldn't focus enough to realize
It's what's on the inside that counts
How can I amount to what she needs

She says
Those diamonds have nothing on her pearls
Wait till she shows me why
She can be the one to lead me to
This Hopeless place I seek
The only defeat I'll taste
Is when her love conquers me

I tell her I hope all she speaks
Isn't some well thought out speech
I'm willing to scale your wall
Told you I wasn't afraid of heights
I need you like you need me
I'm willing to show you the definition of my might

That's how I know
I can be in this knee...no... Ankles Deep
You're right I thought she was Krazy Beautiful
I surely was confused
Yet no excuse can leave these lips
I simply messed up once again

I've learned from that mistake
I'm ready for your love to start conquering (smile)
But I can only do this once we're all in
I'm definitely ready for your art lesson
But most importantly
I'm finally ready for a beginning that has no end
