A Handful Of Raindrops
I hold my hand out
Catching raindrops
It's not easy holding them
Raindrops dripping down
Fast and steadily they fall
Falling on the heads of the depressed and oppressed
Forming in the corners of their eyes
Sliding down their cheeks
Dripping, pouring, soaking them to the bone
If only I could catch the raindrops
And wash away
All pain and sorrow
From these troubled souls
With a handful of raindrops
