far to many years
a man has been put to shame
because of the color of his skin
labeled my sin;
far to many decades,
no matter what African percentage
is in my blood I'm considered Blackman,
so I accept the fact that
no matter the facts I will always be considered as that;
so I learn to be aggressive,
wife divorced me because she thought me passive,
jobs denied me because t.h.e.y felt my hair too nappy,
friends neglected me because my words too revolutionary,
alphabet boys want me buried because my essence is threatening,
my religion is "by any means necessary-scary";
2008 History was made
First Black-President the road has been paved,
came up with an idea that the world needed DRASTIC CHANGE!
inaugurated in 2009,
it is now twenty-twelve
and how many of his implementations have been with-held?
how can change be exchanged if people keep playing
political games?
the rich get richer
and the poor get ignored,
taxes hurt people in middle classes,
make more money and they put you in different brackets,
technical ways to take our dividends,
but it's just like street jacking;
as a Blackman I've adapted
to grabbing what I need for survival
and I'm not talking about snatching,
all done legally,
but the alphabet boys keep pursuing me;
Obama has come up with fantabulous ideas and plans
but congress continues to laugh and yell out in session
"He is a liar" without any substantial reprimands,
somethings are not for me to overstand;
As a Blackman,
aggression is part of my design,
get it how I live,
and build my family so they can continue to live
when I am no longer here...
