young arms exulting in the joy of pumping air

from the bellows to fire the black smiths forge
. Lets see what size shoe fits this horse

keep that fire well lit, exclaimed the blacksmith,

plunging iron into the fire.

The smith with tongs in hand plucks the iron from

the red hot coal. Hammer raised to strike,and shape
white hot iron into a horseshoe, Always wondered why he
struck the anvil one ping first, then with

a rat-tat-tat the smith shaped the shoe.

Lifting the leg of the massive draught horse, he

checks the shoe against the horses hoof, and all the while

i'm pumping air to flame the red hot forge.
Shoe heated in flames, then ping, and a rat-a tat-tat

the smiths hammer shapes the shoe.

Keep those bellows pumping young man.

knowing i'll ride this beautiful horse, that's

patiently waiting for its new shoe
