The Same Attitude as Christ
We need encouragement,
From the comfort and love;
It removes discouragement,
That Christ sends from above.
For your relationships,
Spiritual in nature;
Will give you stronger grips,
In being a new creature.
Always show compassion,
Along with sympathy;
Do not try to ration,
Displaying empathy.
Fill with joy be not rude,
With the same love as Christ;
And the same attitude,
Yourself be sacrificed.
Keep one purpose in mind,
About your destiny;
To always remain kind,
Living in harmony.
Humbly think of others,
Being better than you;
As your Christian brothers,
And holding the same view.
Have the same attitude,
That Jesus also had;
Being humble not rude,
Being thankful and glad.
A day comes God will bless,
Every knee will bend;
As each tongue will confess,
When we see time will end.
