Letting go of lost forgotten memories
without total recall,
aliens with three breast
on feminine chest;
males with pregnant bellies
preaching about reaching the tower
so people can freely breathe
the breath that we are blessed to inhale;
Letting go of a dreamt up future,
filled with riches and glory,
journeying through the rigorous story
of a childhood's ballad destine for greatness;
even though moms was a single parent
working and studying in school,
taking and passing the test
to graduate on earthday's gift;
2030,
seeds matriculating,
training on space stations,
learning about foreign galaxy relations,
diplomatic immunity for the universe;
accepting the present
and giving thanks for the gifts
passed on from ancestors
and great descendants,
living for the moment to
increase the survival of generations to come
and motivating every spirit I contact...
