 Grandeur Of Melancholy

The Diary Of Melodrama

You got me.
But I keep how I feel
locked up tight
so that no one will know.

But I guess I see the
book, and how you
feel won't be for too long.

Maybe the extreme
is not where the melodrama
lies but in perhaps
the certain way,
you turn your head
and sigh.

That is this bird that sings,
or the frog that croaks.
I hear myself off two notes.

And perhaps spill into melodrama.
But I wrote it all down,
but it is the days in my hands,
how do I feel about it?

Just keep me down
to a flowery pen
as I write down
how great the loves
or how angry I am
at those, gets to the point
where no matter how sharp.

Come across as bland.
