Here I Am
Connecting dots became of me
The path to walk once desperately
Once lived a man who had no plans
A man more lost, one more too damned
Life has a way of changing things
About ourselves become something
More than just than being here
Here, still, silent, living in fear
Purpose becomes the drive these days
A place where peace is found always
A secret place that one should share
A state of soul and heart needs bared
Though fall we will from time to time
His voice not ours reminds your mine
So rise again and bring to those
The need to hear from you I chose
Carnal became the once that was
The once more dunce with no real cause
A nowhere man lost in translation
Yet near was GOD with planned salvation
Never understood though still learning
Becomes staple of soul mine yearning
A better life to share with one
If just patience goes not undone
Hold fast, hold dear to garment His
If just a touch to attain bliss
Knowing well that He bar none
Knows well my heart of many sons
So here I am, father again
Help become of what needs mend
A better man no longer child
A servant yours, once world defiled
