Become, became of things once here
A place to write of things endeared
Of power His that fills my soul
An awesome space He took control
Before this time would come to be
It was just act, yes, about me
A stronghold where blindness came
Came to stay in hand with shame
Heartfelt calls echoed about
Some whispered, some I'd shout
Hoping for change that heard my voice
Yet still not ready to know rejoice
Here this piece that spells this day
That pours from soul that knew dismay
Pens a peace that world yearns for
Scribing away the once before
A work in progress, a state of being
A plan all His joined in believing
My structure would take His form
Immersed in trust, become reborn
In thought not feelings for feelings steal
The moment now, the moment then
Rebuilt from scratch and not pretend
I'm sure the road that lies ahead
Becomes the school of faith spoon fed
As peace of mind and too my heart
Is one with Him that plays now part
Here hammer and chisel carve
Hardness of what seems too hard
Too hard to break, to make something
Of life the world, gave nothing
