The breeze of spring would have its day
Special in nature in you it too played
A part of sorts for in this one season
You'd have some good days promised by the Reason
Summer came and would sear its mark upon you
For better or worse dog day afternoons
Mindset of alone and partaking of none
Of bread you had served losing what you thought won
Fall became cooler and chased once again
The promise letting go you knew as Godsend
For feelings became what you worshiped now
Holding fast became harder losing faith and the how
Winter winds blew much colder than ever before
It snowed from the heavens as heart yours implored
Guidance divine for answers to things
To make more of something and of offerings
And in every season that came and too went
The tests of your faith became also spent
Sweating the details not having to press
What God has control of, of life yours no less
The thread of all fibers He made of you
Sewed into existence to mend with breakthroughs
To keep what is special to Heart of all hearts
You He holds special, of His to impart
So be of good cheer and know that these storms
That come upon you, on soul thought yours worn
It's just for a season, structure in the making
Not to be thought of, as Gods will forsaking
Know that every season will have its impact
Your gains outweigh loss upon how you react
For Love has a way to make all things new
If thought in this manner, you'd know Truth is true
