She gave it all away
She changed more than enough
Her feet ached from her sacrifice
Yet she quickly came to realize how dumb she had been
She has never followed the crowd nor cared what people thought
Up until a meddling sister who desperately wanted the best for her in her intentions kept telling her to change herself
She ended up hurt, frightened and alone with her Lord wondering what on Earth she should do
She is left confused with her heart pressured and bruised
She never felt so dumb in her entire life that she gave up being who she became just because a proposal came along
Plenty more fish in the sea maybe more perfect, if he is so perfect why did everyone keep telling her she had to change so much
She can't just throw herself at the deep end when English isn't his language nor her second
