'Put a sock in it'

Matt the Eco warrior has an idea

Yes, I’m same person who said about beer

Don’t throw out your alcohol if you quit

Give me a call and I’ll have it

My new Eco plan, should get the nod

As we all have socks that our odd

In our draws and cupboards or under the bed

Well don’t worry I got an idea in my head

It’s called, ‘Put a sock in it!”

It’s for people who talk none stop $h!t

The pretentious idiot on the train

Talking bull to his Mrs about being late again

Just get your odd sock and shove it in his gob

You’ll find it will do the job

Then the screaming woman swearing at her kid

Find that odd sock you did hid

And stuff it in her mouth, that will work

Don’t worry if she goes berserk

The old woman going on about the ‘good old days’

The Bible nutcase, preaching about the terrible gays

The young lad bragging about how many girls he’s had

The girl talking on about the latest fad

The yapping dog, the crying baby

That annoying lady

The drunk on the night bus

Those who have betrayed our trust

Just walk up to them, get your odd sock out

And just when they’re about to open their mouth and shout

Put a sock in it!
