Getting Over
There is always that joy, jubilation and such great satisfaction
In offering deserved congratulation so someone getting success at an addiction
Seeing the hard work the put in and that long arduous climb and grind
Which was require to bring back some sanity to the mind
Those moments having to deal with those bouts of withdrawal
Shaking, trembling, hallucinating and sweating such beads to fill a bottle
Hope that somehow there could be something there to take
Just to ease that pressure as the mind goes through that awful state
But as time progressed those moments seem to get less
To a point of being tolerable you have got through one test
With a renewed vigor that former sparkle begins to show
There is that feeling and purpose of being able to enjoy life a bit more
But you can rest assure that those trials test will not be over
There is that one of having to get over a supplier who has lost a customer
Who may try aggression and even subtle techniques of persuasion?
To try to fatten his pockets on your dependency situation
This is what he may do, will put the material in your plain view
Hoping to find a degree of uncertainty in the height that u grew
Now the hour and moment in time is all depend on what you do
Certainly after coming this far that company you do not want to renew
Remember no advisor or protected home after a certain time
Will not be always around to influence those thoughts in your mind
So that resilience that resolution must be yours to stand up to temptation
Keeping you on that curative path on quite devoid of that affliction
