To my lovely friend Mel who let her wee dog go and took him out of his agony. RIP Java
Java her companion for
Oh so many years
Has gone ahead to Heaven
And left his mum in tears
But Mel has all the memories
That Java left behind
And all she needs to do now
Is seek and she will find
All the lovely things they did
As time went gaily by
Remembering he`s not in pain
And try hard not to cry
He`ll be with her as she goes
And travels this world oe`r
Telling Mel he`s with her now
And on forever more
Kayaking down the river
And swirling round the bend
Java will be clinging on
To Mel,his mum and friend
So when you go a wandering
Just think of him and smile
Java will be at your side
For every single mile
He will be beside you
Until the very end
And meet you when it`s time to go
Your bestest, ever, friend.
