From the Heart Through the Pen

yosph
Music at its lowest volume
Can strike high decibels
Your beauty at its worst
More than enough
To keep me cast under your spell
Rapidly increasing the beat
Of this thing beneath my chest

If ever I could find
Enough words to continually express
How beautiful you are
My life would be so simple

If ever you could see
The spark my eyes get
Just at the sight of your dimples
You'd understand
Why my spine has these tingles

Attitude that matches your jewels
Kind yet so fierce
Piercing my heart from the beginning

Before you entered my world
It was so scarce
Now every time
I see your smile
An image so vivid
Deeply in love
Want to shout it to all who'll listen
But why am I so timid

In this black and white world
Time for some color
So I let your beauty in it
Saw you fall
Picked you up
Now you're torn in two

Thoughts about you
Eclipse my dreams
The thin line between it and reality
Hazy at best it seems

Tears strike your heart
Running along the seams
I remember those
It's from when I put it back together
So why would I pull it apart

You question me
It explains your resistance but
True love...does it exist
In an instant
Always lose grasp
Once it's in my grips
This roller coaster ride we're on
What a trip

I enjoy these lows more than the highs
Cause it makes me appreciate you
So much more than you'll ever know
I enjoy you simply being you
True Beauty with a halo
A sight so lovely of which
These eyes never want to let go
