Those Who Know Christ
We are sure to know Christ,
If we trust and obey;
Without being enticed,
Or let to go astray.
If you say you know Him,
But reject His commands;
Your honesty is dim,
While on sinking sands.
The truth is not within,
Since you do not believe;
Committing how much sin,
And trying to deceive.
If you do what Christ tells,
Then His love will be honed;
And in your heart He dwells,
Because you have atoned.
The darkness is fading,
True light already shines;
Attitude not jading,
For in Heaven he dines.
You are still in the dark,
If you hate another;
But the love will embark,
If you love your brother.
Those who live in the light,
Love other believers;
Will be blest in His sight,
Envied by deceivers.
