                                                     Maghaberry                   November 14, 2012

The sun don't shine in Maghaberry, the flowers don't grow for sure
The treatment of the beast till the last breath goes, the prison officers cure
They told us it was over, the process signed, the Maze is gone forever
Imagine the rights of man, if you think you can, a visit would make you shiver
Human Rights gone, the prison officers justice with the treatment of the day
If you have an open mind and of the other kind, you wish your life away
People on the street don't share the news, cruel prison life goes on
You can die if you try with resistance in your heart or survive to the light of morn
It doesn't go away, don't turn your back, so they say, and live with the daily scorn
No respect is the way for the people every day, as the jail tries to break you
If tomorrow never comes in the darkness of the night, I say peace be with you
The sun don't shine in Maghaberry, the flowers don't grow for sure
The treatment of the beast till the last breath goes, the prison officers cure
