Winning Victory
Whosoever believes in Christ,
And Jesus is the Savior;
Then should not ever be enticed,
Then God looks on them with favor.
Anyone who loves the Father,
Is considered as His child;
And Jesus being their Brother,
Also are tender and mild.
Children of God we know we love,
As we love to obey His laws;
While all things flow from above,
As for answering to His cause.
His cause to love Him and obey,
His commandments in mind and heart;
As we study His Word each day,
Engraved to repeat to impart.
Anyone who is born from God,
Has victory over the earth;
Because you are no longer flawed,
And God knows how much you are worth.
But it is not a mystery,
That your faith wins the victory;
Over all of the earthly things,
That the lust and temptation brings.
If you do believe in the Son,
And you know Him as your Savior;
Then you know victory is won,
Jesus looks on you with favor,
Either we love the world or God,
We can never be loving both;
For who we do honor and laud,
Is who our hearts has the growth.
