Rejoice!
Rejoice! Rejoice!
Here comes that special time.
That I can tell those around
with a merry rhyme.
Forever tells the story
one we can't forget.
Of God's everlasting love
with all it's joy and yet.
How we will celebrate
with joy that fills the heart.
to know our Savior's birth
caused forgiveness to start.
Such a little thing, a babe
setting this world free.
He has taken our place
a bridge He caused to be.
So He will talk to God
At the Throne He stands.
He's pleading every case
Of sins by mortal man.
The stripes He has will heal
it”s forgiveness He seeks.
He hung upon the cross
for both the strong and weak.
Because of our free will
sometimes we turn away.
We will go on sinning
no matter what He'll say.
God will stand there waiting
for each of us to ask.
Our sins will fade away
righteousness will come to past.
Again we celebrate
for on Christmas day.
The door has been open
Jesus will lead the way.
Somethings we all can do
Ten commandments a start.
Beginning a life that's free
asking Jesus in your heart.
