and so He came By EDWIN FLORES, www.PoetryPoem.com/poetry2231 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
His breath of life came to sustain
A world of hurt and sinful stains
His innocence would recompense
A debt not His but mans immense
This infant born would change such things
By blood his sown, man's life song sing
A new beginning to amend
A change of course, such was Godsend
Yet in our haste this season born
Some shopped and dropped and may have scorned
The reason for the many seasons
As Judas did, man's crime of treason
Fill your glass of wine but know
There is but time, mankind forgoes
To know this child became the man
That holds the keys to save the damned
Many will pass on such this drink
Of covenant cut ties not think
That in the end our grand demise
Becomes our fate as this world dies
Know the good He understood
That lies within, the very good
The Bread of Life born on His eve
Know this dear friends who this day reads
and so He came so you'd believe
Vote for this poem
and so He came
