Does not seem so long ago
You ran about and danced aglow
Before mirror and parents two
Princess theirs they thought of you

You came of age and turned into
Queen, once princess too soon you grew
Into the woman who found true love
With Knight you called your Ish above

I'm sure he celebrates with you
For in his heart he too longs to
Be right there as you blow out
The many candles he placed about

If I could speak for him I'm sure
He'd say how much he has endured
Life without the one who made
A soul mate of for YOU he prayed

I wish you well and so does he
On this your day all will agree
That though now Queen if for a day
You'll be his princess now and always

Happy Birthday Doris! Enjoy your day!
