Many are they that fill if for now
A place in our heart as time does allow
But it never seems to be quite enough
Enough if just fills ones empty cup
Love above all when gone leaves behind
A place of destruction, heartfelt greatest crime
As emptiness bears what once use to be
A place of tranquility where loved flowed freely
You flew as if wings were born at your side
Above all demise in clouds you'd abide
But life would catch up and strip you of this
Lost love exits now with too it's warm kiss
Fleeting such moments we all must go through
A place where the fallen from life they withdrew
Somber and alone we keep to the past
Asking ourselves, how long will this last?
Take heed broken heart and know you will heal
The moment for now, is not of appeal
But Christ heals such wounds and will mend the way
Soothing all that hurts, of your yesterdays
The need for the moment is all but for now
Now as the present dissipates as allowed
For brokenness has a cure on the way
Changing things that you thought, forever would stay
