His walk purchased along the way
The gift of life now and always
A price too much for you to pay
A sum of sorts to free all slaves
No not of chocolate or perfume
But of blood for death near loomed
To save not one but save the world
Ransom paid for precious pearls
He was the first and too the last
To show but love and you he'd cast
Into love story, His to tell
Your name, His voice yours still spelled
Not just one day expressing love
But before your birth His all thought of
Imagine that, you not knowing
He loved to death, His seed for sowing
Concept, complex, though try you will
To think of why His will would fill
Your place on cross, His life for yours
No second guess His to endure
Buy your heart a second chance
His or hers of true romance
Whisper life into their ear
Tell of love, true love and dear
Though hurt you may of love you had
Or think much worse, much worse than bad
Know that He is Valentines
Yours to have as He is mine
This Valentine heals the broken hearted
Come and taste and know true
LOVE
