This is a recognition of one's own definition and admiration of others dedication of making a stand, even in their final hour showing strength and power or much ample power I should say.
The ones who fell astray of the rules created by their self-proclaimed
masters leaving the mistreatment as animals and the consequence of death by hangings, the separations of families, and the rape of women and children,
Thus being forced to work in fields and extreme conditions with back lashes and other bodily wounds far, far, far from healing.
The ones who aided in the creation of the secret majestic paths known as the underground railroads, freeing themselves and others knowing if they were to be caught that the penalty was instant death.
The ones who made the ultimate sacrifice, risking and giving their lives in the civil war fighting to help abolish slavery.
The ones who learned to educate themselves to read and write reaching some of the highest strides in America's history but only to have their recognition stolen and given to someone else for false credit.
The ones who died in violent ignorance of just being different in their own shade of color. The ones who wouldn't move to the back of the bus and the ones who definitely had a dream, last name ending in king.
The ones who still fight and the ones who fought and gave their lives for civil and equal rights for all who is black, for can you imagine how bad things would be today if they were still like they were in the past.
