How truly romantic can a lovely rose be
It's unchallenged beauty is what I see,
Hues of a rainbow or white as a dove
When received it is a symbol of love.

Romantic roses are a part of our lives
Soothing a new born baby when it cries,
Baby roses soon bud into petals so soft
A bridal bouquet is promise often sought.

Long stemmed roses gives off such flare
When congratulations makes us all aware,
Of achievements in life we daily scored
With scents of roses in memory stored.

~***~
Garlands of roses, both crimson and red
Honors our patriots for their lives shed,
Adorning our altars in house of prayer
Asking Our Lord to keep all in His care.
