Lord, I am so very confused
I feel betrayed and even used
Instead of trying to figure it out
I should accept it without a doubt

Please understand why I am sharing
Not to blame but lessons I am learning
I was told not to work overtime Wednesday
Then asked to leave an hour early Thursday
Also sent home right after lunch prior Friday
Third time I asked head supervisor reason why
She said the evening shift has had some issues
Not being able to finish their original schedules
Due to Puerto Rico bank getting too caught up
In fairness, our hours after 3:00 would be cut
In past month 3-4 temps for night shift has started
Train them on other banks daily to be completed
One was given option for more hours I overheard
That was last week, contradicting her own words
Before she granted us extra hours to our schedule
She should have analyzed all various aspects still
Outsourcing has resulted in work at a slower pace
More work options need to be provided in its place
In October when I was asked in that bank to be trained
I regret my part in encouraging others to get involved
But now they were finally making the 7-8 PM deadline
Branch manager was pleased to have it finished on time
God has helped me to see relying on overtime was wrong
To make up for shorter weeks when holidays came along
If my budget was very tight even with a full time schedule
Then lower wages would not be enough over the long haul
I sense He is leading me to look for a 2nd part-time position
Along with steps taken toward medical expense reduction
Recently I was able to enroll in the agency health insurance
If I work at least 20 hours per week I can keep the coverage
