Cherry Lane
On Cherry Lane theres an old post office
A barber shop and a bus stop too
Saburban skies a grafitied garage
A tier swing for me and you
On cherry lane theres a little old gossip
A drunken man and a village fool
A willow tree for kids to climb on
When the bell rings after school
Why would I want to be anywhere else
For home is where the heart is
And my homes here
On cherry lane theres country tavern
Church bells chime when its super time
The cunstble is out all hours
Trying to solve the latest crime
On cherry lane theres a broken bridge
Where you can watch the river flow
Smoking underneath a lampost
Bang begins the firework show
Why would I want to be anywhere else
For home is where the heart is
And my homes here
On cherry lane
On cherry lane
On cherry lane
