the sun burns away
the cold and shines
its warmth on the earth
bringing back old memories
the glistening green grass grows
in the early morning dew
the trees bring out their new buds
the birds from the south return
a farewell to a season
and the welcome of the spring
looking back at memories of
yesterday
wandering eyes that see only
the past
some things were brief and
some did last
its usually hard to change
things done wrong
but some times things were
meant that way all along
deal with the sorrow today
and live it tomorrow
