This is the message we have heard,
That comes directly from the Word;
Has been reported to you through Christ,
Needing Him to be sacrificed.
For God is light no darkness in Him,
Only joy without being grim;
Those who remain within the light,
Would be a blessing in His sight.
If you say you are kin to God,
But you do not honor and laud;
Then you lie and live in the dark,
No truth in where you do embark.
If we live in the light the same,
With God to whom we do proclaim;
We have kinship with each other,
Thinking each one as a brother.
The blood of the Son cleanses sin,
And purifying us within;
Then God who is just does forgive,
So we will eternally live.
But you cannot ever believe,
Someone is trying to deceive;
When they say that they have no sin,
Then the truth could not be within.
But if we confess our sin,
He is willing to cleanse within;
God is faithful and will forgive,
So in purity we can live.
You are not very disciplined,
If you state that you never sinned;
Then go tell it to the choir,
Trying to make God a liar.
