Petes Poetry

Children of this planet.

Up and down the slippery slide, a play in the park.
For joys are simple for children, and one leave their mark.

The string continues, somes destiny already written in the stars.
Love of life their crime, I'm suprised they are not alrady behind bars.

So the innocent is educated, by their parents and society.
Innocents becomes morals, not all supported by every deity.

The next generation, the earth's future, gods gift to us all.
The innocent become wise, the short become tall.

But what if we don't care, supply all the love they need.
Like what example do we set, if we are driven by greed.

A child's needs similar, no matter what country they live in.
And to rob, abuse, and starve, we all know would be a sin.

Peter Riddoch.
