Visions

God of All Providence

And we know that all things work together
for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose. Rom. 8:28

Oh Lord, our God,
enthroned
upon the praises of Israel,
we thank you
for our many blessings!
We thank you
for healing our souls,
for forgiving our sins,
for answering our prayers,
for healing our bodies,
and for satisfying
our mouths with good things!
Oh God of All Providence,
who brought the Pilgrims safe
over the stormy seas
to found a city set on a hill,
a place of godly government,
to celebrate the first Thanksgiving,
and to be the vanguard
of Christian civilization
in The New World,
founded on Scripture
and plain reason!
Thank you, Lord,
for our many blessings,
those we know
and so many we do not,
many subtle twists and turnings,
yet all things work together
for good to those who love you!
Praise the Lord!
