Thankless Winds

So when the wind comes
you give it no thanks.

When the great rush of
moving that ship.

You don't have to say
and they don't want it.

So you go about the changing
of the guards, the periods of calm,
the sudden storm.

As you feel at your back,
it moves you from one
stance to the next
and you got to move
with it. Feel that it is
powerful, you love it.
There is something
grand about the wind.

Especially when you are
in the middle of the ocean.
