There was a dream I had the other night--
Where I was taken on a witch's flight..With my very own
broom in hand..I took to the night's air with delite..Flying
over a country scene..clouds pass over the Moon beams
and everything was what it seems..Have you ever seen a
human being with Angel's wings and a Devil's care? Wanting
no more than my fair share..Reaching out from the sky you
take hold of my hand..And sure enough I shall lead you to
the promised land..of broken blossums and mad cap laughs
of flying saucers and tea cups full of hyacynthiene petals
I know you better than you know yourself..The truth of the
matter is, coming home and finding yourself alone, in your
lonely gloom..asking,"Where did all the laughter go?"
From a winter's night and Eagle's flight and Easter lillies
that grow from the snow..And all that I can tell you is that
in the end you're on your own..For what you've created and
what you've destroyed for everything that you've loved and
everything that you've hated..and all that you've seen and
every chance you've wasted..And everyone's soul seems so
empty, faded and jaded..Words left unspoken are words that
are never heard..Through the vast emptiness of time,
even gravity can't escape the black hole of fate..
Light bends,Angles form, mirrors reflect, and a new
life is born..Candles that burn twice as bright burn
half as long..by the time you've figured this out, your
life is all but gone..And all that remains is a sad yet
simple song..Mocking you from your grave..asking,"When
did all this go wrong?" You can't take back yesterday
and the future never comes..The present is felt with
every new breath; softly spoken into your ear,"Travel
lightly and with great care." "..enter into my world,
if you so dare.." "Take heed my friend, as I've so warned
many before." Life is for living..you might ask,"What's living for?"
I'll never tell..for the magic is lost, once the
secrets been told..so, just carry on, like before,
pretend nothings ever happened, you're better off
not to know..~~the end
