Last week all work hours again extended
PR deadlines unmet so policy reinstated
Mandatory one hour per day until notice
Thanks Lord for 45 hours a week I rejoice
When hours were cut back end of February
Lord You provided for my needs continually
Mail order drugs and agency health insurance
Changes led to savings only by Your guidance
Per head supervisor extra hours could be possible
Based on late day batch counts not always reliable
Recent time change work increases in the evening
Yet varies so staff needed is difficult in planning
Eating lunch at my desk was given as an option
Did not have to clock out under 8 hours duration
On days I stayed late, requirement also waived
It made for a long shift but more wages earned
What a joy to relax for 30 minutes Thurs. and Friday
Eating lunch in the break room not at my desk anyway
I need Your strength and energy to make it through
Help me daily adjust to the nine hour schedule too
Lord, grant me courage to ask for new area of training
One temp in our group has taken that step of learning
It fills up her morning gap and she caught on quickly
Yet job closeouts could be less based on availability
Lord, as four of our temps will soon be there a year
May Your will be done as contract renewals are near
I know You hold the future in the palm of Your hand
You have faithfully led me this far and I trust Your plan
