The sky last night failed to appear
As was before and as I feared
They sent a temp to handle things
That failed to bring a song to sing
Scattered about in disregard
Were stars not bright making real hard
To see the shapes that cling to sky
I do believe they too did sigh
For on pitch black sky curtain veil
Went missing one who them unveils
Bodies made up of cosmic dust
Were strewn as if no need or must
Were of importance to play in
The lives of those who viewed sky dim
Many sobbed and wept all night
Sadness rang, dismissed delight
Maybe the cause was heavens switch
Failed to be hit or has a glitch
Yet I alone knew all too well
The problem here was due to spell
Of one who now is off her feet
The one who makes night sky complete
But fear not friends for soon they'll be
Back up again for destiny
Has a plan to keep and mend
Heavens soul to earth GOD lends
