Poetic Verses
That Hero
In living our lives can be influenced in a way
By the teachings of someone and what they tend to portray
And just like how the sunflower on the sun keeps that focus
We too somehow seem to somehow to have that locus
It will be quite noticeable that the person will always make headlines
This will even re-enforce that commitment in the minds
Being asked to be many speeches at so many places
And may have such an influence on people of all races
Many will say the younger generation needs such a person
As there were lots of disappointments latterly from many institutions
Because those ones so entrusted deeds over time got exposed
All those years of covering up created a stir when exploded
Then we complain when the youth to some current trends are leaning
But what can they do when they see quite clearly scenes that are deceiving
People may be appalled by what is happening saying it is terrible
But in their era things happened but were done so subtle
As people our attention is biased toward those with popularity
And in effect tend not to look at their success progress carefully
We only tend to see that rise to such heights and affluence
But did not take that look at the road lased with those impediments
There are too very good persons to admire perhaps of different era
It is quite reasonable to say they would be Obama and Mandela
Who defy those odds and overcome many barriers on that ascent
To those high offices in their respective countries becoming President
Remember too that when we try to adorn any person
Be always mindful that they are most definitely human
There is not wrong in being inebriated but their intellectual brew
But when they have faults and yes are fallible this is quite true
