Poetic Verses
Green
What a beautiful picture, such a lovely scene
Especially when the brushstrokes are ones of green
And even those critics are overawed by the type of theme
As they are captivated by the blend of verdant to be seen
But as people we should certainly take some of the blame
When we look at the surrounding and should hang our heads in shame
Because our doings certainly show that we seem to be on a pilgrimage
To clutter our very environment with all types of garbage
There were moments when attending any form of function
Those trash bins were certainly placed in very accessible locations
But is so disturbing that after both young and old finished eat
They just drop those empty containers at their feet
Another occasion this was the example shown by a father
He was sitting there quite aware of the mess made by his daughter
The mother decided she should take care of this cleaning matter
But was dissuaded by the father who said leave it for the resident cleaner
There one can see we have to most certainly have that change in culture
Be more respective and more understanding of needs of nature
So there should be some drive to make sure there is that education
That is very important as this can avert a very dangerous situation
Therefore to all of us occupying this places on this earth's estate
Understand that we have a responsibility and it's our mandate
Not only to talk but to back it up by those deeds to ensure
That we will do what is required to that surrounding beauty secure
How delighted it is to at every time to see the blue sky
Feel the air around us and it clean breeze that blows by
Drink pure water and those ones washing the shore is pristine
And admiring a landscape dotted with grass and trees so green
