 Holy Is The Lord

Let us not approach the Throne of God
In a casual attitude.
Our entrance should be one of awe,
worship, and gratitude.

Our passage to this Holy Place
Was purchased at great price.
Precious was the offering…
Holy the sacrifice.

His Presence is perfumed in peace…
His heart harnessed in love.
His holiness streams down below
And stretches up above.

The fragrance of forgiveness has
Dismissed the scent of wrath.
Our altar is His Holy Book…
His Cross our only path.

Boldly, respectively, we come
For we are truly blessed.
Our audience with God is based
On Christ’s holiness.

~~Author's Note~~
The Lord asks that we be holy as
He is holy. Our holiness is in and
through Jesus Christ. We are seen
as holy if we are wholly into Christ.
The Father counts His Son's holiness
as ours! O, how worthy is the Lamb!!

~~Dedicated to Elena Maria~~

Psalm145:17

The Lord is righteous in all his ways,
and holy in all his works.
I Samuel 2:2
There is none holy as the Lord: for there is
none beside thee: neither is there any
rock like our God.
Isaiah 6:3
And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy,
is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
Revelation 4:8
And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him;
and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day
and night, saying, Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God
Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come
