Walkin on Air

Handjive

Creation's hand-jive is what one might contrive
as simply:
carelessness that moves the hand of condition.
Innocence of heart spanked by detestation
as yesteryear races-on-by
and older becomes older aging in tandem
with open mercy
wafted on the silent whisper
winds of change carries forth.

Sharing wealth of old age
at times like these might rescue you,
or maybe not?
But that's how it is: I can give nothing,
yet, offer everything for a friend.
Never forget:
growing older is a handy privilege
denied many.
