Hey Ho,here we go..I must lead you through the row..
Hold my hand, as we pass the crowd..A theatre of joy and pain..
Someone cries out loud.."Hey, watch where you place your step!"
"I'm trying to enjoy the show!" I say, "Sorry please, oh do
forgive me..I didn't mean to step on your toes.."
Finally, we find our seat..the show is about to begin..
I sneaked some snow caps in your purse, chocolate drops
and nonpareils that melt in your mouth..Popcorn bought
from a machine that's oh so oily, the curtain draws in..
The lights get dark and so we're sucked right in..
Make me forget all the pain, up on the screen, we live
through them..At least for a bit over an hour or so..
It's somewhat good to be in the dark with you..Do have
some more popcorn, drink some over-priced soda..
We'd sell our soul for another..See, I told you, you'd
feel better now..Until next time, when we make
our grande escape..into a world of make-believe..
and a circus of the mind..This is why I just can't wait!
